PEKA granted 8.6 hectares of forest reserve land for replantation efforts

We have some splendid news for you on this splendid Tuesday!

Our meeting with Jabatan Perhutanan Semenanjung Malaysia (JPSM) and Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri Pahang in Cameron Highlands yesterday has brought us great announcement.

PEKA have been granted 8.6 hectares of forest reserve land for 5 year replantation efforts in Hutan Simpan Gunung Siku, Cameron Highlands (From April onwards)!

We are delighted to start our replantation programs there! We welcome all sponsors and volunteers for the upcoming programs.

On a similar note, Green CH Task Force (consisting of various environmental NGOs) lead by JPSM will be organizing its 1st replantation in Hutan Simpan Gunung siku on 7th March 2015. This is a joint effort between government agencies and NGOs to make green Cameron Highlands a reality.
